Impeller
The impeller is the central element of the centrifugal pump and must therefore be carefully designed. The shrouded impellers - generally the most used – allow for maximum flow control because of their defined hydraulic course. The open impeller – generally used with solids whose dimensions exceed the passage openings – avoids soiling of the impeller itself although it guarantees a lower performance.
