Thermoplastic elastomer
Thermoplastic elastomers (commonly known as “M”) are the link between the world of vulcanized rubber and that of thermoplastic polymers. In fact with these M it is possible to obtain the same elasticity and "rubberyness" sometimes similar to those of vulcanized rubber, but they are processed with the same technologies used for thermoplastic materials (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, etc.) and with the possibility of recycling production scraps.
Santoprene® is resistant to ozone, solar radiations, water, acids, bases, oily liquids, greases.
It can be sterilized both with vapor and ethylene oxide.
It maintains its properties even after many working hours under repeated compressions.
Use temperature: from -40°C to +120°C
